So you joined Vanilla Survival and you wanna claim your stuffz. Here's how to lock your stuff down with Towny!
Step 1: Create Your Town
Stand where you want your town center to be, then run:
/towny create YourTownNamePick whatever name you want. It costs JAMIE UPDATE THIS NOMBER LATER If you don't have enough money, you can get it by building, mining, or trading.
Step 2: Claim Land
Your town starts with one chunk (the one you're standing in). To expand:
/t claimEach claim costs money from your town bank. It claims the chunk you're standing in. Walk to the next chunk, run it again. Repeat until you've got the area you want.
Congrats! You're a town mayor now!
Step 3: Keep It Funded
Towns have an upkeep cost. If your town bank runs dry, your claims stop being protected. Put money in with:
/t deposit <amount>Check your balance anytime with /t.CHECK THIS
Other Useful Commands
/t invite <player>-> invite a friend to your town/t kick <player>-> remove someone/t set perm-> control who can build, break, and open things/t toggle pvp-> PvP off by default, but you can turn it on if you're feeling spicy/t map-> show a claim map so you can see what's yours
What If I Can't Claim?
Couple things to check:
- You're too close to another town. Claims can't overlap.
- Your town bank is empty.
/t depositsome cash. - You've hit your claim limit. Expand by inviting more people, as claim limits are determined by the amount of people in your town. It's about JAMIE FIGURE THIS OUT claim chunks per person.
